Jimah work update

The data acquisition work from Jimah is completed today. I feel so happy because i need not have to drive 1 hour + to get to that place again.

When I passed the tested info to the Japanese Commissioning Manager, he felt so grateful to my "hard work". (It doesn't involve a lot of hard work because it is not rocket science. All that required is just to be careful in monitoring the SCADA system when it pulls out the tested data from the digital meter). With a firm hand shake, he thanked me for my patience and consideration throughout the test period. Here goes my first ever assignment accomplished with this power plant!

Tomorrow, I will be resuming my previous job in Semenyih. From the discussion that I had with my boss Jeff just now, I learned that there will be a FIRE UP ceremony for the boiler. This test seems very important as it is the main functional device in the solid waste power plant.

So I will be witnessing the first ever project commissioning in my life. And I think I will be taking over some of the left over job by Jeff as he will be going off on cruise for a week. Sweat, again I will be all alone to explore the remaining process of this project. Man...all the will-be's...Anyway, I am looking forward to it.
